Liz, I shall miss you so very much.  Liz and I were walking companions with the Nordic Walking group at Maggies.  I looked forward to seeing her every week when she would tell me stories about her life in Jamaica and her wonderful friends there.  Most of all she spoke about her gorgeous children, Alicia and Ian, of whom she was very proud.  

I admired her bravery, strength and marvellous feistiness. She certainly didnt suffer fools and had a razor sharp wit which always made me laugh.

When I was unwell in hospital she rang me regularly and helped to take my mind off everything.  She was a selfless true friend and I shall miss her.
